So, Thursdays Mason and I usually head over to my friend Amy's house. We go out to lunch, then back to her place to lay on her floor, eat her snacks, and use her amazing camera. A couple of weeks ago she captured these beauties...
P.S. Go visit her Etsy store! She has BEAUTIFUL cameo jewelry.

CURRENTLY
WATCHING: I always seem to be watching "The Office" when I happen to be blogging on a Thursday night. But yes, that's what I am watching. I was watching American Idol before this, and I don't know why I watch that show because its horrible and I can't stand any of those judges. Steven Tyler forever <3 (side note: Mason is snoring really loud next to me).
INSTAGRAMMING: My life since Mason was born is all about Mason, so Instagram is no different. I used to take hundreds of pictures of my cats (yes, cats), but now Mason has taken over my life. Pretty much all of my pictures consist of Mason, and some of Matt as well.
TASTING: EVERY SINGLE DAY this week I've had a soy chai frap with an add shot of espresso and I am LOVING it. Its ridiculous to spend so much money on Starbucks, but I've replaced my daily bagel with it sooo, not an ish.
LISTENING: hmmm...listening...I haven't been really listening to any bands specifically lately just the same ole' playlist in the car that consists of Eric Clapton, Bon Iver, and Mumford and Sons. But music aside, I have been listening to Mason's new found voice all day long. Its real cute.
LEARNING: I have been learning a lot of business lately with the making of M&TT, I've gotten my business license and sellers permit and am kicking ass at it.
**Let me explain the pictures above. Everyday this week I've gone to Target with Mason just to get out of the house. I start off with a stop at the Starbucks inside and get my drink and then stroll around basically every aisle with Mason. As i'm sipping on my chai, Mason sees and starts to imitate me and starts to reach for the cup. Obviously he can have nothing to do with any ingredient in my cup, so he gets upset and starts to scream to get my cup. So, I happened to be passing the aisle with the Valentines Day stuff and saw this cup there and handed it to him to play with so he'd stop whining for mine. I had no intention of buying it. Then I turn and look at him, and he's sucking on the straw...End of story, I bought the cup and he now drinks juice out of the straw.**

// SUNDAY ADVENTURES (ON A SATURDAY) // GRIFFITH PARK HIKE
This week we did our "Sunday adventure" on Saturday because I had plans on Sunday. So, as promised, Matt took us to Griffith Park. It was a really nice day and we went for a nice hike. I, of course, had an extra 16 pounds hanging on me which made it even hotter for me when walking but Matt held him a couple times up the big hills. After our hike, we went to a nice restaurant in Los Angeles called Mendocino Farms. Its super cute and super healthy and it was delicious. An absolute MUST for anyone visiting the area.

// SUNDAY ADVENTURES // PARK & HIKE
This weekend we decided to do our "Sunday adventure" on Saturday because I had a meeting with my pattern maker on Sunday. But once we woke up Sunday we decided to do something local, so that was a mini adventure for us. We took Mason to the park close to the house and took him on the swings, and slide for his first time. He seemed pretty unimpressed, but lately he's been holding back his urge to nap so he was pretty tired. We got a couple smiles here and there, regardless.
After the park we walked across the street to the hiking trails and decided to go for that. It was pretty hot outside and since the hike was just on a whim, we were dressed in jeans and not appropriate work out clothes so...yes. Mason seemed to have fun once we stopped and I nursed him, so he just needed a little milk pick me up. My little boy loves the outdoors and he loves our weekends when we have his papa with us all day long.

// SUNDAY ADVENTURES // STARBUCKS WALK
Last Sunday I started a "Sunday adventures" tradition. I wanted us to get out more as a family, so Sunday's are a perfect day for that. No matter what it is. Last week we went on a nice nature walk, and this week we just had a nice 2 mile walk to Starbucks in the freezing cold! I didn't bring my camera, though I had my phone but pictures we hard to come by when I was freezing! We walked to Starbucks, ordered our drinks and sat outside (yes, in the cold) and Matt and I had a nice 'meeting' over my website he is designing for my clothing line. I can't wait for the launch!
Once we got home, the sun went away and it started to hail like crazy. Needless to say, we stayed in for the rest of the day and Matt made some serious progress on the website. Later during the night he started to play the banjo after Mason woke up from his (3 hour!) nap and he went absolutely crazy. Dancing and cooing along to the music.
Next Sunday Matt promises we'd go to the Griffith Observatory for a nice walk.

CURRENTLY
So, I've decided to jump on the 'currently' trend happening, thanks to Randalin over at Harvesting Kale and Sybianna over at In her lovely life. It seems fun, so I thought i'd give it a try. Expect one once a week!
WATCHING: Literally at the moment I am watching The Office, though the shows I religiously keep up with are Parenthood (absolutely the best show with the best cast, ever), American Horror Story Asylum (even though I regret watching it every week because I can never go to sleep afterwards), Teen Mom 2 (I know, pathetic. But addicting), New Girl (super funny), Happy Endings (even funnier), Ben and Kate (hilarious), Grey's Anatomy (eh, going downhill but still watch it), 1600 Penn (just started watching it, but thus far...amazing), and Girls (best show EVER). Now that I type these all out it seems like I spend all my time watching tv, but in reality I only have time to watch tv when Mason falls asleep at night and sometimes while I nurse (thank you TIVO)!
STRESSING: I'm in the middle of completing my first clothing line for kiddos and its starting to stress me out when I find myself on the phone talking business while Mason is screaming for attention as he squirms on my lap. I'm almost done, so hopefully things will only get easier. Expect to see it launching within the next month!
READING: The Best Homemade Baby Food on the Planet. I'm researching and reading up on nutrition concerns for the bub. I can't seem to bring myself to feed this little guy something other than breast milk.
LOOKING FORWARD TO: Getting this clothing line finished and out! Also, can't wait for Mason's first trip to San Francisco to visit my sister which is coming up within the next month. And hoping that Matt got this new job. $$$
THINKING: about the details of the clothing line, and about everything I need to get done.
LOVING: How I can see Mason progressing in everything. It makes me so happy to see him get through milestones, but it also makes me a bit sad that each and every day my baby is starting to not be so much of a baby anymore.

// SUNDAY ADVENTURES // NATURE WALK
It's feeling a bit like summer around these parts, though theres SoCal for you. We're now sticking to a tradition of Sunday walks starting with yesterday. I stuck little M in the sling and took him for his first nature walk. It was fun, and nice to be outside on such a beautiful day!
Get ready for a lot of pictures....
