PAPER BAG OWL COMPANY WOOL DIAPER COVER REVIEW

We are a cloth diapering family, all the way! We use bumGenius 4.0 cloth diapers on Mason and absolutely love them! He never gets diaper rash and its saved us so much money so far. Therefore when I came across a review on a wool diaper cover that Megan over at The Boho Momma had done, I knew I absolutely had to try them for myself after hearing such great things. I was lucky enough to have stumbled across Lisa's Etsy store "paper bag owl company" which had so many beautiful wool diaper covers (and wool longies!) that she upcycled herself! AND she was generous enough to send me over a cover to review. I was more than excited to get it on my babe!

I opened up the package and saw the cutest Christmas wool diaper cover! I wrapped an indian prefold on the little guy and put the wool cover on. He looked adorable to say the least.

I loved the wool diaper cover so much. Its so simple to use and doesn't have all the snaps that the cloth diapers have. Another perk is that these wool covers hardly need to be washed! If any of the urine gets through to the cover, it just needs to be hung outside to dry. The fabulous thing about wool is the fact it can absorb 1/3 of its weight in moisture, which means it can really soak up even the most heaviest wetters. And even when it is full of moisture, it feels extremely light considering that the moisture immediately begins to evaporate into the air. Another great thing about wool covers is the fact that they can regulate baby's temperature no matter what type of weather it is.  If it is hot, the cover keeps baby nice and cool and if its cold the cover keeps baby nice and warm. Wool is absolutely wonderful, especially when it comes to keeping baby butts clean and moist free!

Thank you Lisa for the opportunity to review your beautiful wool diaper covers! Head over to her Etsy store and have a look at her amazing handmade selection of these beauties! http://www.etsy.com/shop/paperbagowlcompany
